While I'm Arkansas spending time with family, we decided to grab some Mexican food and stopped by El Charro, which came highly recommended. At first, I was against the idea because we deep in Arkansas grabbing Mexican food. That notion just didn't seem right. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the place, staff and quality of the food. The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to come out. I ended up ordering chilled Verde and my girlfriend ordered enchiladas. Outside the meat being cut up differently, the chilled Verde tasted just like it does when I buy it back in California.... Delicious. The drinks were made with love and a heavy hand, which was a welcome plus. This will definitely be my go to place next time I'm in Arkansas visiting family. Until next time...
Awesome authentic Mexican food. I'm from Texas and this is the first time I've found something in 4 years I can eat in mountain Home as far as Mexican food goes. Our waitress name was Juana and she was delightful. You will enjoy going here to have lunch!
The enchiladas mariscos was phenomenal! By far the best dish I've had all year. Whoever said fish and cheese do not go together are dead wrong and clearly never had these enchiladas. Have been here several times and they never disappoint. Great place to eat any time of day. Clean restaurant, great staff and excellent food.
I absolutely love this place! They are so quick so kind and all that cheese dip there’s like no other!
